All ASEPCO actuators are machined out of solid stainless bar stock—not fabricated.

  • No shortcuts or compromises here.
  • ASEPCO actuators are designed for the user.
  • They are rugged, reliable and field-serviceable—which they rarely need.

These actuators are designed to be “bomb-proof.” If you can fasten a tri-clamp, you can easily assemble and disassemble any ASEPCO valve for inspection or maintenance, and you can do so without tools!

We machine our actuators from a solid bar of stainless steel, then we seal the inner works with Teflon bushings and o-rings. We spent two years on the ergonomics of this machine. We also hog out the air cylinder from solid bar and seal them with teflon bushings and o-rings.

Inside our one inch and larger manual actuators, we use two sets of stainless steel thrust bearings in nylon cages, because lab tests showed us that the valves would maintain a more stable position with smoother operation over the years than if we left the bearings out.

For ease of use we use the same 1/8” NPT fitting for the air connection on all our pneumatic actuators. That means you can autoclave these and not worry about lubrication. These machines are so well made they don’t need grease!

We can instrument the actuator any way you need it; fail open or closed, switched, and with or without solenoids and Devicenet cards. We chose this approach even though it is more expensive and economizing here would have been “invisible.”

Finally, you can shorten your downtime since all of our pneumatic actuators are field serviceable.
